Webmail
If you were only using SmarterMail's webmail (https://webmail.wwwcomm.com/) then you only need to use the new address: https://mail.3wcomm.net/
If you were assigned a new password you will need it for the new Webmail login otherwise your username (email address) and password used for SmarterMail is the same.
Email Applications
In some cases you may want to start with a new Outlook Profile or new Outlook Account. If you are switching from POP3 over to IMAP you will have to either add a new email account or a brand new Outlook profile. If you want to keep the incoming protocol (POP3 or IMAP) the same as it was for SmarterMail, you will need to edit some settings under the existing Outlook Account (bypassing the addition of an account or profile).
Modify Outlook Account
Simplest approach to updating your Outlook, if your incoming protocol stays the same, if so modify your Settings.
- Incoming Mail Server - old values mail.wwwcomm.com change to mail.3wcomm.net
- Outgoing Mail Server - if old value is mail.wwwcomm.com change it to mail.3wcomm.net
Secure Ports
- Standard ports used for SmarterMail will still work. However, we recommend switching to encrypted protocols with the values found in our Setup Guide.
